Eberhard Feltz was born in Königsberg and had the good fortune to begin violin lessons at the young age of seven. He studied in Berlin and Leningrad. Since 1963 he has been teaching at the Academy of Music Hanns Eisler in Berlin. In various master classes throughout Europe and the USA, he has secured a distinguished international reputation as a teacher.
